WHEN WILL I MEET HER? by BAMIDELE KOGBE

I left her a couple of moons ago
Unsatisfied for she refused early of my ring
I crossed over the sea, to explore a new world
Still, mind aglued with what she never gave
In her alone I wish to explore thing I have never done
Here a number of offer come straight to my door without “May I? ”

She says she loves, I wonder the truism in her ‘not time YET’
I love her because she belongs to  old generational time
She claims same that I share part of the old virtuous age
Will I meet her when I finally return?
Will her gift preserved, atone my troubling thought?
Will she preserve the key only  FOR me alone?
How will I feel when she opens her door at last?
