The end of my time is drawling near,
I face this event without fear.
I put my faith in Jesus,
so I am going to be welcome into Heaven,
at least, that is what I have read,
and that is what I hear.
How did my life appear ,
to peoples' eyes and ears?
Some may have loved me,
Some may thought I was just weird.
How will any one know the difference between my appears?
When I disappear,
some will jeer,
Some will shed a tear.

This is the day the Lord has made .
God woke me up to face another day.
I got out of my bed by faith, not knowing if the day will bring peace or dread.
I open up the Bible,to feed upon God's daily bread, that I may face the day with strength and courage.
That I may be lead around the land mines,my enemy has planted in the battle field I must tread.
That by walking in the Spirit, I will not loose my head, when my enemy's action cause me to see red.
That people I come across while preforming my job will see I am a follower of Christ, not a hypocritical slob.
This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it.

God wakes me up to greet the morning,
I rebel, and roll over, and ask for ten more minutes.
My mind is souring with a thousand things to do,
before I can fly out the door.
To dogie paddle my way through a ocean of humanity,
to get to work on time.
At work I slave away most of my life,
at a hectic mundane job, to maintain my life.
I day dream,and I scheme,
about things I would like to create, paint and write.
To make this world a brighter, and more colorful place.
When I get done my job,
I feel like a dirty,tiered slob.
Like a hamster that just had a heart attack,
from spending all day running on his exercise wheel.
I kick off my work boot, like throwing off a pair of shackles,
I clean myself up.
Then I pray to God, for Him to jump start my battery,
to live my second life.
To create, write,and paint,
To make this world a more brighter, and more colorful place.

Cinderella Fellow
Cinderella Fellow
Once upon a dreary day
He had to appear before a jury
To see if he would be hand over to zoo keeper
To be sentenced to captivity in a cage
or put on a leash until he earned his freedom
Cinderella Fellow
Cinderella Fellow
He dressed his best
to impress the jury
That he was tame
not insane
Just a victim of mistaken identity
Cinderella Fellow
Cinderella Fellow
He hoped in to his chariot
To make his journey to appear before the court
Along the way
he stop off in the market place
To purchase a potion mad from a magical bean
That would Energies him with the power of caffeine
In market place
every maiden's eye was caught in a trance
by his fancy sport coat, tie, and pants
Every maiden he passed
showered him will flowery Compliments
Cinderella Fellow
Cinderella Fellow
When the jury was held
The King Of Kings pulled the strings of the hearts of the noble of the court
To show mercy
To grant Cinderella Fellow the privilege to remain free
Cinderella Fellow
Cinderella Fellow
The next day he hoped into his truck to make his way to the market place
Along the way he stopped off at Wawa to purchase a cup of Joe
He cheerfully greeted every fair lady He passed
The fair lady were all deaf and blind to his existence
As if he and them were existing in two different dimension
At first he found their reaction to him to be lame and very strange
Then he saw his reflection in a picture window
He no long wore his fancy sports coat, tie, and pants
that caught every maiden's eye
holding them in a trance
causing them to shower him with flowery Compliments
He was wearing humble faded jeans and a cheap T-shirt
Now Cinderella Fellow knows what it feel like when a book is judge by it's cover
Not by the story that is written on the pages inside

A relationship is like a piece of clay,
on a potter's wheel.
Relationships spin round and round,
some time emotions are up,
some times there down.
A potter's wheel never spins perfectly level.
Hearts are like a piece of clay,
sometime they are hard,
sometimes they are soft.
They take their form from the touch of another person's hand.
Relationships are like a piece of clay,
on a potter's wheel.
If we fail to show compassion to each other,
the wheel will spin to fast,
our hearts will collapse in on themselves.
Relationships are like a piece of clay,
on a potter's wheel.

You Know this world can be harsh and Cold
Like a winter waste land
Sometimes our soul can become frostbitten
By the trials we tread through
But being held in the warm loving arms of a special friend
can heal a weather beaten soul
Sometimes we walk off the straight and narrow path
We get lost in the dark wilderness of sin
It is a special friend who comes searching for us
Holding up the word of true like a lantern
So we can see our way out of the darkness
and back to the road of safety
A special friend is a soul mate
When they see us beaten down
It fills their heart with sorrow and they lift us up in prayer
When they see us being blessed
It fills their heart with happiness and they give thanks to God
For a special friend is faithful to stay with us
As we travel through the winter barren land
and through the valley of propriety
Everyone needs a special friend
Will you be my special friend ?

There once was a world that was engulfed in darkness,
by heavy clouds of tyranny, and social oppression.
Across a great ocean, in a new discovered land,
some dreamers share a vision , of a land removed from the clouds of darkness.
So they labored together , to build a light house, who's light of liberty and justice ,
would shine freely on every one in the land.
That every one who receives the light, will have freedom to chart their own course of their destiny.
The dreamers constructed their light house using bricks made of the substance of:
Fear of God, love of one's neighbor, high morals, integrity, sacrifice, perseverance,
courage, hard work.
People from far away lands, boarded vessels of air and sea, to escape their countries that are enslaved by the darkness, to start a new life in the land of light, and freedom.
Through out the life of the light house, many storm have rage against it's structure,
yet it's light of hope never went out.
As the light house aged, it's bricks became brittle, So it's keepers began to replace the original bricks with new one, that made of the substance of: Apathy toward God and His Word, envy, self indulgent, immorality, slothfulness.
When the storms beat against the reconstructed light house,
the new bricks crumbled, and the structure was reduced to rubble,
and the light of liberty and justice went out.
The clouds of tyranny and social oppression, returned and engulfed the world.

I don't desire to dwell in beautiful temples
made by your hands
I desire to dwell in every room of your heart
I don't desire the blood of sacrificed animals
or the good works of man
I desire obedience to my commands
I don't desire your empty religious practices
I desire a heart that is on fire with love for God
I don't desire to be visited only on Holy days
I desire to fellowship with you every day
This is why I laid my live down for you

You were born in to sin
You were living in prison
You were waiting to face the judgment
There came a visitor to your cell
Who said,He paid your dept
to set you free from burning in Hell
You couldn't believe what you heard
until He stepped into the light
You saw a sight that caused a stir in your soul
He wore a bloody crown of thorns on His head
and nail prints in His hands and feet
He had the keys to your cell dangling from His right hand
You fell to your bed,you bowed your head
and believed in what He had said
He opened up the door to your cell and set you free
You heard Him say, " Go your way and sin no more
For you have been pardoned not paroled"

Faith is like a spring
it brings life to a desert
The Word is like fertile soil
it provides food for the hungry
and strength for those who are well rooted
The Son shines His light on everyone
But only those who stretch toward Him
Will grow and produce much fruit
