When I met you

When I met you
I was thunder struck,
found something in the ambience
radiating from your presence
and somehow you knew,
could read my mind
without really trying
and your company
is filled with energy
and a sweet serenity
reaching out to me.

Her Letter

I read, re-read her letter
a mere one-hundred times.
Her thoughts were pure and priceless,
in words of perfect rhyme.

I hadn't seen her smiling face,
but I will always be -
drawn, as if by magnet,
to her magnetically.

I hadn't heard her 'angel' voice
that sings as waves would flow -
yet somehow she has drawn me in
to shore where waters go.

I hadn't smelled her sweet perfume,
as garden full of flowers.
But oh, if I had breathed them in,
I'd be under her powers.

I hadn't held her fingers yet -
or hand in tender way -
or hugged her tightly when she hurt -
or kissed her tears away...

But oh, I understand her well -
and really must disclose -
that she's is kind and loving as,
a precious, perfect rose.

A rose that blooms so purely,
in rich, romantic hue.
A rose that grows securely,
in greatness through and through.

Her kindness and compassion
prove true humility -
so I'll embrace forever -
the letter she sent me.

The Note

A goodbye note was found beside the bed,
It said, 'You're too late, I'm already dead.
I wanted someone to stand by my side,
Someone in which I could truly confide.
Someone who loved me, someone who cared,
Just someone to hold me when I was scared.
No one was there for me, no one at all.
I even left a little picture for you on the wall.
You'll find it in the bathroom, behind the door,
Which may be hard to open with me sprawled on the floor.
The picture tells a story, a story about me,
I always loved you, as you'll soon see.
I drew it with my blood after I cut real deep,
I used all my strength to complete this feat.
I couldn't live my life like this forever.
I couldn't live knowing we'd never be together.'
Walking in the bathroom, turning on the light,
You feel nauseated at the gruesome sight.
The bathroom floor was covered in my blood.
Like it had just gushed out in a flood.
Behind the door was the picture as the note had said,
Just below the picture was my body, cold and dead.
Stepping closer to the picture on the wall,
Trying not to slip on my blood, trying not to fall.
You see the image of a broken heart,
The image of a woman who fell apart.
You fall to your knees, knowing it's too late.
You cry and curse yourself for my fate.
You wanted to be with me for the rest of our days,
You loved me and was coming by to tell me today.
'I always loved you, as you'll soon see, ' you said,
'You'll never be alone again, ' as you cradled my head.
You picked up the blade, sliced yourself real deep.
Thick blood gurgled out, from the cut it seeped.
'Together we'll be, if not in life, then in death.'
You whispered in my ear with your last dying breath.

Mirror

Picking up the pieces of the broken mirror, I see,
How much life had never meant anything to me,
I never thought I was the pretty one or smart,
But I realize that I've been given a whole new start.
A new chance to make things better than before,
A chance to spend time with all the loved ones I adore.
A new change of lifestyle and a change of heart
A release of all those emotions that were tearing me apart.
The old life I knew, I threw away with the glass.
I got a new life, a new mirror, and I'm forgetting the past.

Probius (nonce sonnet)

Probius was whipped by guards until bloody,
then chained and locked in the dungeon
to convince him, to offer to gods
and when they saw him shaking with sheer pain

his capturers thought it would make him broody
bring sense to him with a hard bludgeon,
then they were betting and drawing some odds
thinking that his faith in God was in vain,
that by this time he would be quite moody:

“I am better prepared than before
and you can send to me your whole army
but now I am only convinced more,
that nothing to your dead gods will force me
the devil, your true father, I deplore.”

Mary Magdalene as a accused

How does the love of man upon man
blind the power that always gives light to darkness
where my whole being at a time could react
and be lost in passion and pleasure.
In me those urges and voices are now silent
and I am new and pure like a child.
I have wasted far too much time and energy
without finding any happiness until now.
He writes mighty words upon the ground,
words that drives my accusers away.
What He says stays with me:  “Sin no more.”
Words that free me from condemnation,
selfless love is His endless treasure
and I have come to full conversion.

Quatrain 106 - The Divine Essence bestows...

The Divine Essence bestows knowledge on all mankind
and so without this grace humanity would remain blind.
The darkest area of our mind is the place in which it comes to shine
dispelling ignorance in its wake from which we all suffer and whine.

Quatrain 104 - Familiarity does often...

Familiarity does often breed contempt
though with certain things it is exempt.
To have faith, trust and love in someone you do know
is what the art of true friendship is expected to show.

In the infinitude of God’s consciousness there exist countless possibilities
but all that does really happen must be in accordance with Divine realities.
