There is a new world between you and me
where we find something more than just love,
where we do forget all of the past pain and heartaches,
where we only know about how we feel now.
In a place far away from memories and the reminding
we do meet where love is not measured by possessions
and sometimes the misery of life gets hold of me
while deeper things are only waiting to unfold
and when I feel your breath soft against my cheek
and do look very deep into your eyes
then there is far more than only the heat of your body
and then I know of the impact of you words and actions
and I get a glance of how that world looks,
when I find the essence of love which no words can describe.
