Praedicator
To hell with the non-believers, the cynics, and those that shun beliefs they don't think are true. The world is not separated by bricks of boring brick, there is no wall that divides humanity.
It burns to hear the cries of a million human souls. They cry out to be heard, but are still mute to the ears of men. And then there are those who have heard the listless moans of the people, yet pretend to know nothing of it.
The world is too cruel. People with power do not give – they pretend to give, then take more from behind the big blank screen.
To hell with preachers, who know next to nothing, while pretending to know, an example of those who would stab a back because they feel superior while standing atop the defenseless.
But still, I sit here and dream. I look into textbooks and journals for some reminiscence of compassion, toughening my heart because I know the world is cruel. But still, I am defenseless.
What does it take to be above all others, and at the same time, be below all others?
