sunday afternoon
 
robin
is strutting in
the backyard back and forth
round and round like a high-strung
cadet
 
blue jay
mourning dove and
blue jay are eating grain on
the grass side by side uncaring
sharing
 
a soft
piano piece sneaks
out of the stereo on
this day it's good to be back home
again//
