Sonambulist heaven
Dagger night in sight of anticipant cats
that crawl through broken dreams, it seems
deplorable
that one might write such observations,
may I ask - which one of you is here tonight
to enjoy the wonder of the woman in sight?
Her pale opal beauty in all natures wonder
to leave an open casket of fairytales
in the gods ungrateful slunder
Oh sleep well, young prince
to songs of your mothers lips
that caress you with desperate security
Please don't blasphemise my words
Please don't think I am unkind
For you will find,
that I,
I do not teach, I do not sing
I have nothing but unkept morals
to leave and to bring
And one day you might approach me
under my angels wing
speaking of your ways
in an un-heard of ancient hymn
And you will ask
Why did I go?
For I left you here, with nothing to show.
In which I will say nothing
yet shall kiss you on your hand
and watch your butterfly technique
wish you away into the sand
For you are the golden grain
that keeps us all alive
I knew it would always be you
that would be the only one to survive.
Sycamore sycamore, silk and no more, skies.
