SEPTEMBER 11
the world stood still at two o’clock
all laughter turned to tears
upon this day the USA
confronted its greatest fears
a nation became a target
of cowards without pride
who never come out from the dark
where they choose to hide
out of the ashes will rise an eagle
watch as he sores up in the sky
for you will never take our freedom
no matter how hard you try
land of the free home of the brave
a place where dreams come true
you’ll never break our spirits
know matter what you do
So many lives husbands and wives
brothers lovers and kin
upon the day a war begun
a war we have to win
god bless thoughts who perished
god bless everyone
we will all stand together
until this war is won
God bless all hero’s
who gave their lives away
through their acts of bravery
others lived to see another day
for in times of trouble
on them we can depend
for the new York emergency services
to be their till the end
You never take our freedom
in hard time we bond together
never will we turn away
no here not now not ever

think
do you ever thing about
all the things you’ve done
the goods time and the bad times
the laughter and the fun
do you wish you could go back
and live a certain day
would you leave it as it was
or change it in some way
you meet the girl you loved and lost
be given a fresh start
the girl you really wanted
the girl who broke your heart
you know what you did wrong
a chance to put things right
a chance to make amends
to change that curtain night
how would it work out
was it meant to be
would you risk you future
just to go back and see

To short
life is is to short to worry
life is to short to be sad
life is to short to ponder
on things youll never have
life is to short for sadness
life is to short for tears
never count the days
never count the years
lifes to short for falling out
life is to short for war
life is a gift don’t waste it
life is so much more

dear moon why so blue
alone up in the sky
...
not so bad but why so sad
as you watch the world go by
dear moon what do you see
as you look down on me
im alone all on my own
no stars for company
dear moon why do you cry
do you feel my pain
tell moon will in find love
and happiness again
dear moon please stay a while
we were just having fun
you know its true i can talk to you
i cant talk to the sun
dear moon goodnight god bless
thanks for listening to my plight
i will sleep all day
i will see you again tonight

from the day that i was born
you were always by my side
to have you for my mother
just filled me up with pride
... you pick me up when i was down
you taught me right from wrong
who am i gonna turn to
now that you have gone
through out my childhood
you gave me memories I,ll treasure
that will alway be a part of me
i will keep in my heart forever
teenage years i had my fears
but you helped me to get through
when life seemed just to much
i would always turn to you
i miss our little chats
sometimes lifes so unfair
i keep going round your house
in the hope that you,ll be their
i miss you mum i really do
in life you were my rock
to lose you broke my heart
i cant get over the shock
but when ever i have children
i will love them as you loved me
i know you are in heaven
happy and pain free
so rest in peace my mother
i love you more than words can say
i know deep in my heart
we will meet again some day

the last sunrise
i sit and watch the sunrise
i know it will be my last
...
just time to reflex on my life
to dwell upon my past
the sound of childrens laughter
brings pleasure to my ears
how i wish i was a child again
to relive thoughs golden years
i think about what i have done
did i make the most of life
i raised two healthy boys
i married the perfect wife
i dont think i could moan
in fact i did ok
as i sit here and ponder
listening to children as they play
i dont feel sorry for myself
and if i could live my life again
i would not change a thing
i live it just the same
i sit up and have a look outside
to see a bird upon the wing
to see the trees so tall and green
i feel the warm sunshine of spring
its hard to say goodbye to life
so wish that i could stay
i hope the they send me angels
when they take me away
i hope thier is a heaven
where i can live pain free
open the doors im on my way
better save a place for me

Father
I have always love my father
I really wished I had told him so
For now he has passed away
I guess he will never know
I wanted him to be proud of me
I wanted him to see me do so well
Sometimes I really messed things up
I put myself through hell
God only knows I miss him
God only knows I care
I still keep walking into his house
In the hope he might be there
But someday I know we will meet again
And I know just what I will do
I will hold him very tightly
And say father I love you

I'm Still Here
I may be gone but please don't cry
death is not the last goodbye
death releases me of my pain
there will come a day we will meet again
don't be blue and don't be sad
think back to the fun we had
I am always here I hear you speak
in time of trouble it's me you seek
you don't see me but I see you
ill do my best to pull you through
speak to me and I will hear
never far I am always near
be brave my children do not cry
see you again it's not goodbye

Lost Generation
a boy lays in the gutter
a needle by his side
a life so short a last resort
he even lost his pride
he lived without a future
then died without a life
he will never know the happiness
of children and a wife
they say it will not harm you
they say you will feel know pain
for they know once you try it
that your will be back again
for a pusher makes a million
he makes it out of sorrow
another trip another hit
another death tomorrow
