Why deceptive retrieve
in a wheelchair
for the fallen?
Was it not a sheer
wrong message
of a space anxiety?
The aboriginal name
was dead in a traffic. What
a choice to breathe its
last in a city of buried
monuments? Vision of inner
city affiliates,
taking questions for
the first time. You
become only a body after the death.
A white rose waits
for a blue sea. The black moon
hovers around the old man.

One of the secrets of successful living,
is recognizing Christ as your source.
For only His divine principles assure
that Life stays on the Kingdom’s course.
For happiness will never be found
in the possession of earthly things.
The deepest of joy resonates when…
it makes one’s heart sincerely sing.
A genuine relationship with Christ
inspires one’s spirit to mightily soar.
With Faith, we are more than conquerors;
nothing is better or gives you more.
Become grounded on The Word’s strength;
open your heart to His holy commitment;
be identified as a Child of His, knowing…
that you will find real contentment!

Genuine spiritual values
bring us both light and joy,
when we belong to Christ -
as His faithful girls and boys.
This is possible when we lean
on the foundation of Scriptures.
For true Life can be found within
the Kingdom’s wisdom and virtues.
Exercising faith will be our key
for staying on our holy path.
Remember that the wages of sin,
can not escape Jehovah’s wrath.
We need to accept the gift of Grace
and be submerged under righteousness.
At times, we will face difficulties
of traversing a spiritual wilderness.
Recall that our Lord has promised
to never leave or forsake us -
Especially when to His Principles…
we willingly and obediently acquiesce.

Far too transitory daily life is,
in nothingness
we try to find some kind of real meaning;
with willingness
to change, to love and then to really live;
in lastingness
we try to outwit even oblivion
but our own lives do not go on and on.
Gert Strydom, 22 august 2013
To mere humans He gave power
that when in love they come together,
they do create just as Him
and together forge new life
and on every new creation day,
when for the first time a child cries
it is witness about Godly power
and we do become inundated with joy,
when we are bound to a child
and to each other with blood
while we also find part of ourselves
and we want to find and presume only the best,
when the world is different from what it has been
and everything becomes tangible real like flesh and grass.

Stretched out is the veldt, free and wild
while time ticks of as if from infinity,
while like a god man looks at science
and reaches to self-destruction in mere audaciousness.

Through an introspection,
One can analyze any reaction.
Situations remain the same,
But we try to put the blame.
When do we feel good?
When do we behave rude?
When everything goes our way,
We feel good, happy, and gay.
If anything turns turtle,
We become unstable.
Circumstances make us dependent.
But, don’t we like to be independent?
Well, attitude should change,
Evade incidents out of range.
Instead of regulating the outer,
We should try managing the inner.
Controlling outer events and past,
A difficult task, but forgetting is a must.
Contriving the inner-self and thoughts,
Would work wonders and achieve lots.

A cult of sound without lips
was growing. The veil had staked its claim.
Staying myself I thought I will become
you; there would be a lured kill!
Moaning inside, a wave has ruffled
the sea. Serpent of moon quakes the shore.
Death was worthy of a kiss. A gull
flies away with glassy wings.
Rediscovering a beehive, honey of the
immaculate queen, between the breasts lies
a rival, I do not drag out the rainbow, I
have lost the will to trap the blue-fish.
We are distancing. A saddest tree drops
the seed in abyss, blackened, somebody
buries it inside a wall. The stones have
no option, up to neck the opacity runs.

In many of my dreams you were
and I did wait
while the days almost endless
was passing me
and the spring, the summer, the autumn and winter
covered me
before you came suddenly into my life
and it’s as if my life started anew again.
Gert Strydom, 21 august 2013
Throughout my life I have waited on you,
have waited that you would come
with the kind of hope that a person finds in faith
and in my more mature years
I do trust you like a child blindly
and the days turn around
while I arise each morning
to see you again, my darling.
