DAY DREAMING

I was tired of reshuffling the stars
in silent night.
Will you come and stay with me
for a while? I will give you
my light years to reach the hurting valley.

Sit down beside me
and rest your head on my drooping shoulders.
Together we will cross the dark river
of doubts conversing with fireflies.

You are carrying my unborn children
in your deep thoughts.
Flesh, blood and bones
pain between the ribs
and arrhythmic throbs.

Small pebbles on the beach
we are dreaming an ocean in our eyes.
Waves are high and wind is strong.
We are ready to drink the blue sky.

Dear Lord, at times pain does fill my mind (Rubliw)

Dear Lord,
at times pain does
fill my mind and my heart
when my relationships falter
and yet You are the very source of love
and now I do ask forgiveness
for those I have wronged
and for those I
did hurt.

Dear God (Rubliw)

Dear God,
this may seem odd:
I need You to assist
and I do know that You do exist,
at times walk up ahead to straighten things,
do take care of my belongings
but You are in the shadows
when I get blows
from fate.

Dear Lord, when I do pray (Rubliw)

Dear Lord,
when I do pray
maybe you do record.
I do not know the words to say
but do notice Your help in everything
and although life at times do sting
and times come as they may
I read Your word
and trust.

When we do meet again (Rubliw)

When we
do meet again
in a week or a month
it will seem as if forever
has set its mark and each kiss does remain
when we again are together
but the being apart
did tear the heart
in two.

Again some tears will fall (Rubliw)

Again
some tears will fall
like great fountains of rain
and words and deeds even though small
will have an impact on the inner heart
and where we do both live apart
we will know the great pain
separation
does bring.

DOLPHINS

Sometimes I will meet myself
in an unlikely spot
to tie the loose ends of fugitive life.
Run, run I used to tell
my blisters,
you are caught in a bushfire.

I will say, take hold of the moon
and start wiping the stains.
The antelopes, the trees, the rocks
will keep your footmarks alive.

What a crazy idea, I will think
to pretend to be happy.
Gods are sleeping,
vault is broken
and priest has become a thief.

A jab in my back, I am bleeding.
Why not a meaningless word,
a painless wound
would play like dolphins
in my tranquil sea?

When the last tears are spent

When the last tears are spent
and the missing grows too much
and all of the well and loving wishes are sent
and every grief and grouch

has faded to oblivion
then still you will be in my thoughts
while I do pray for a Zion
with you in it and that which I do sought

and for everlasting love and trust
and for a life that is worth living
and in heaven a place for the just
and an everlasting spring

but now we are broken
and our sorrow and pain remain unspoken.

Surfing the ultimate wave (Rubliw)

We will
seek the great thrill,
surf in hurricane waves
experience the surf, the swell
with all our fears tossed away to hell,
and all of us will be past brave
our small party of men
will try again
with skill.

MOVEMENTS

you bring pink roses everyday
from nowhere

with an oblique smile,
some questions have remained unanswered

when I plunge in silence
you won’t stop talking

anger is its own failure
for breaking the door

where was the need for honour
killing of flesh

I will come out of the oblivion
once you pray for the retreat

time was running out for the sky
tornado has started moving
