Plug me back in

Stop injecting the clouds

The never ending turn of the wheel

The throw of the dice

The recurring earthquake beneath my feet

Stand me on the solid ground

Eyes focused

With hawk like precision

Bounding through life

Like a Roman candle

Set the sky alight

All the colours of the rainbow

Cascade from the sky

Falling embers glow

Just like fireflies

Who painted the sky

so beautiful

Streamed with glitter

It reminds me why

I don't just give in

And end this life.

How the mighty may fall

See him there with all his false faces
His empty promises
Poison deceitful tongue
The snake he hisses
Slips by
All his faces in tow
Showing them off
No one blinks an eye
He flaps his meaningless lips
With no soul
They are all deceived by him
I'm not.

Loving kindness lingers deep in your soul (Stave stanza sestets)

(after John Donne)

I am glad that I have met you on my way,
as you bring something lovely to any day,
loving kindness lingers deep in your soul
makes everywhere a place it does control,
discoverers have gone to worlds unknown
but with you, we have a world of our own.

Both our lives are different hemispheres
that completes a whole without any fears,
the way to truth in your lovely eyes rest
where the course set, is always true and best
others me to different ways have shown
but with you, we have a world of our own.

[Reference: “The Good-morrow” by John Donne.]

You are very hard to try and forget (Stave stanza sestets)

I do not like the loveliest poetry,
or any kind of music better than you
and although these things are awesome to me
they do not have the ability to be true
but from the very time that we had met,
you are very hard to try and forget.

There is something in the way you do smile
that draws me, does all my feelings beguile;
it may sound somewhat absurd or dissolute
but I find you beautiful and very cute,
more intoxicating than wine or a cigarette,
you are very hard to try and forget.

There’s an understanding between me and you (Stave stanza sestets)

There’s an understanding between me and you,
we are twin souls in what we think and do
severally Cupid’s arrows did us strike,
we are different and very much alike
our views, beliefs and minds are quite the same
I call it love, you belief or another name.

I am bewitched by your sultry voice
people call you my only object-choice,
while you do bring life to every day
your loving go further than you do say,
at times to you it is a kind of game;
I call it love, you belief or another name.

SWEATING

Myriad of grasshoppers were sitting
on the leapless bush
celebrating the earth.

I was never happy
with the anniversary of thirst
eating the memories of green.

His hand rummages
to collect the shrunk berries
from my chest.

Today the sun will step down
in honour of a cloud
who opened a hole in a collider

I am the mother
and I am the father
of a homeless moon.

Poem: Unfailing Love

O my Lord, it’s another beautiful day;
I’m reminded that Your tender mercies,
have been released for my benefit again.
Having placed my trust only in You,
I pray to walk on paths of righteousness,
which are in accordance with Your Word.
Show me my lesson plan and journey for today,
as I yearn for Your kindhearted companionship.
Allow me to hear this morning’s song,
which resonates with Your… unfailing Love.

Poem: Hearts and Hands

In times of earthly trouble,
placing our heads in our hands,
accomplishes nothing; instead…
we need to lift up our hearts and hands.

For in surrendering our issues to Him,
we start to see the solutions we need.
Applying Godly answers becomes much easier,
when to the Holy Scriptures we heed.

For our heavenly Father loves us,
and He wants us to pray openly;
such an opportunity allows us
to display our faith vigorously.

He is who He says He is
and not a man that He should lie;
from having a true relationship,
we know that on Him… we can rely!

Poem: Faith To Meet Each Trial

Although I may be weak and weary at times,
You gird my spirit with an inner strength.
When reaching out to You in earnest prayer,
I’ll always be within Your arm’s length.

Please continue to enlighten me with truth,
so I may better appreciate these victories
that increase around my life, day after day -
which are the result of communing with Thee.

By my words, Godly deeds and humble prayers,
I purpose to release my commitment unto You,
knowing that I’m promised Your blessings
and coming are these divine breakthroughs.

O my Lord, thank You for empowering me!
By faith, I claim my spiritual inheritance.
As a child of yours, nothing can stand against me
and I will rise above all, earthly circumstances.

Working

    Working…
Workaholic gets no all for all.
Patterns worked are sapper more.
Bondman cry and cry are sad.
Cultures make are cultures mad.

Rural ways are hays and rice.
Farms have works and some are fine.
Farmer saying most can sing.
Pedant men are cadres pink.

Social drink champagnes are pinks.
Cadres’ classes have houses and sinks.
Working days are playing Zen.
Instant Zen are drugs with sins.

Works may do and works may harm.
China Whites are danger pounds.
Somewhere cases are laws must claim.
Not the goodies put to tents.

Literary persecutions are dollar ten.
Dime is year Is jail are pans.
Bribe your keepers all may fine.
Good is chance as you may mind.
(By argot one dime is one year in jail.)
