The cheetah [2]

In the veldt were impalas, some oribi
and kudus roam around wild
a cheetah sneaks forward merciless
without even the zebras noticing

and when they rush away bewildered at speed,
when a cloud of dust rise in their mad run
it’s as if his feet get wings
as if he rushes forward much faster

and suddenly catches up with a animal that he has chosen,
drags it down to the ground
and then the jaws of the hunter close like steel
while the other game mill around in a hundred fold.

TORCHES

It was a big trauma.
Granary went overboard,
my boat was torpedoed.

No romance was left now.
At the burial of the moon
aliens were arriving.

You do not want to call it a genocide.
The massacre of millions, of children
and women. The civil war was inside you,

not in the homes of innocents. A god
falls on the rail-tracks to commit
suicide. His severed limbs I would not see.

I want to close the window,
as the white dove was carrying
dead leaves for a mass grave.

Fluxes and Times

    Flux….
Lie to kinds of rules that come.
Come and run are amuck that run.
Upstage some are hyper plugs.
China faults have evil marks.

Rocket marks are copied parts.
Nothing good and go too far.
All amused are foolish jokes.
Flux in times and life has chokes.

Shake their hands and keep their cards.
Lie a lot are jobs in parts.
Fluxes of bloods are evil strikes.
Govern all are species are types.

Kowtow yeses are better jobs.
Careerism takes are jobs on top.
Ways as wherefore those are wounds.
Tyrants kill with tyrant moods.

Firms and equals need by laws.
With no mores are all are fall.
Laws and mores have equal signs.
Bad to vice are all so right.

Counter china commie well.
Some de tour and forces must help.
Fluxes in times are stones can wash.
Melt and wash are stones as ashes.

UPPISH ways are spam in hearts.
Hearts must check are tyrant cards.
Nabob cards can play with food.
Eat that feed but bite and rude.

Brains must wash are peoples’ minds.
Protest peoples chains are lines.
Pepper sprays are bad to eyes.
Cops will need their jobs as me.

Flux in times our cops may chance.
Evil army use guns by hands.
Tyrants pleasure all are feels.
Care the tyrants’ hills and cliffs.

In the Bushveldt

A crow flies croaking in the game park,
indignant about vultures that descent,
where they act out their antics, pecking,
at remains left by the lions.
I stay detecting through the open window,
and drive a day’s journey past gigantic trees of teak
drink ice cold cool drink while we talk pleasantly
and I notice zebras, elephants, a leopard and then this:
three lion cubs that eat voracious, unhindered,
and they look as innocent as small kitten
with the sun touching their fur with patches
until the male roars, makes its presence known.
A crow flies croaking in the game park,
at remains left by the lions.

The wind blows rustling through the bush

The wind blows rustling through the bush
and only it and God knows where it is going,
when it disappears and nothing move in the veldt
and when it returns some grains of dust are blown away.
An ibises raises gleaming copper into the sky
while God finds some answers for His earth,
and it chatters while big wings slam against the wind,
as it flies high over a small wooded hillock.
Guinea fowl peck along in the red grass,
after the rain some small bulbs are growing,
some lovely flowers astonish the veldt
but still this world is wounded by man.
The wind blows rustling through the bush
and when it returns some grains of dust are blown away.

Someone who comes close to our heart may become very dear
but someone who remains at a distance is probably due to fear.

We are all caught up in a dream life of immense proportions
and within that we each have our little dreams of distortions.
Between our consciousness and unconsciousness or life and death
a connection exists between them of which the essence is in breath.

Quatrain 87 - For whatsoever reason we do....

For whatsoever reason we do actions or any certain thing
try and make sure unfavourable reactions they don't bring.
The mystery and depth of cause and effect is baffling to the mind
though possessed of the keenest intellect can still hinder and bind.

A Creature Of Habit

You’ve become a creature of habit since coming into the world O man
and so will evidently try to justify this condition as much as you can!
There are so many things that you ignorantly or needlessly do now
which prove to be of little or no benefit to you while here anyhow.

You’ve come to know very little about the workings of your body or mind
and with this limited knowledge attempt to cure all those ills of mankind.
Is it any wonder then that you create more problems than can be solved
as nature indicates those situations from which you wish to be absolved.

Of those habits that all give most pleasure you tenaciously hold on to
and the long term effects of them turn out to be just burdens for you.
It’s also on the spur of the moment you rarely see beyond your own nose
and the consequences of those actions you do not really wish to disclose.

You have made it a habit to acquire possessions at such an alarming rate
and some of the means you employ to get them create an unhealthy state.
By the sweat of your brow you’ve worked hard to bring certain things about
being both good and bad they’re what always have been without much doubt.

It’s in keeping with the spirit of progress which drives you forever on
that you try to perfect some of those things you had once started upon.
Though history shows signs whenever you’ve come close to the mark
that sooner or later than not you’ve all been plunged back in the dark.

Could it be out of sheer habit that you repeat the same mistakes over again
which prevents you from achieving your glorious objective once more then?
Or could it be that you all seek perfection in so many imperfectable things
and have to go through traumatic experiences this non-fulfilment brings?

Your bad habits probably indicate there is something deeply wrong
that you have failed to recognise and is why it has persisted so long.
Though some people have written or talked a lot about Original Sin
it is what we do in this life to regain Original Justice and grace win!

To be habitually virtuous and sincere in our efforts is only part of the way
being a step in the right direction no matter what many others may all say.
There are so many ways by which people commit personal sin and fall from grace
that without some kind of intervention they would never reach any heavenly place.
