Deep in your eyes

Deep in your eyes I saw another universe
a place of love, peace and rest
and I was aware of the depth of our love,
did know that I do not really deserve you.

I wanted to close my eyes against your gaze,
against the bright golden light that shines from your eyes
when you did bring healing for a life of pain
while you did stretch out great bliss in only a moment

and unsteady on my feet
I escaped from your hot arms,
did open my eyes wide
and our being together was wonderful and intense.

For far too long I have searched for you

For far too long I have searched for you
and when I saw you the first time
there was the sudden recognition
as if I had found a part of myself in you,
as if for ages you have been my companion

and still I know that you are lovely,
that your presence, your voice,
continually draws people nearer
and it’s as if I constantly keep remembering you,
as if you are perfect and I know that I am right with this.

How lovely you are

How lovely you are but you are unaware of it
and sometimes it’s as if the sun shines through your humanity,
sometimes it feels as if I have know you for years
as if you fit perfectly into my soul, into my life,
as if I can feel your heart beating in mine
and sometimes I become aware
of the presence of God in your heart, in your spirit and soul.

REMEMBERING

You shall read me
when I am gone
in green pain.

There had been gifts
unhanded.
Unwrap them in dark –

when moon was
yellow.
The beams will rub your body.

A bared stasis
will stop the fluids.
Wash your face with tears.

It seems a long time
when I touched your eyes.
My clouds would not find you.

DARKNESS!!!

I am alone in this dark room

waiting for the sunlight to appear

but its obvious it won't

i am living in a dark world filled with dark people

the sky is dark the houses are dark

my life...........is dark

who am i ?

well they always call me the queen of the dark

because i am a dark person as i write this i realize

the sun should not come because i love the dark

i breathe it, i live it, i smell it, and feel it

so i say to the sun stay where you are

because i love my life filled with darkness

Fate

Fate bring nostalgia through paper,
while glancing through the sketches
of an old notebook ring,
for imagine the look of ambrosia
at the Finding of a forgotten Thing.
And the quirk of a smile that catches
the ring of the drones of Memory,
that fetches the string of those times.
The Crime of the past clings - forgiven,
and flies by the pace of the rhyme.
The pleasure, sublime on the stings
and etches the treachery,
cries Time, and - again
bringing new clarity,
- pure and unbearably-
of those Lost and Forgotten things.

Tomorrow

I have asked you many times to go with me
To a different place where we can flourish
Today is still not fresh; it longs of old images
I feel haunted and discouraged
I feel six shades of blue
Do you even understand my despair with this situation
Are you clinging to the hope that I will change my mind
Bring back the old me and stay for some more abuse and
Hunger for your touch which is no more
I want to go to tomorrow; where there the clock ticks and time
moves on like a marching band
Tomorrow may never come

Poem: SATOR Squares

It’s very surprising that “SATOR Squares”

seem to appear everywhere

the mighty Roman army had gone;

can they together, really belong?

Can anyone else see

inside this puzzle’s mystery?

It’s been learned that it’s not a game

and a truth, always remains the same.

Known is the square’s earliest evidence –

Can it be a mere coincidence,

that it was found in a retired soldier’s home?

From one who had faithfully served Italy’s Rome.

The Naked Archeologist cracked this riddle,

by playing around with the letters of its middle.

Fairly revealing were some of its words,

whose interpretation were not fully obscured.

From analyzing all 5-lettered Latin palindromes,

it became clear; this particular grid stood alone.

The hidden phrases are now, no longer lost;

PATER NOSTER, “Our Father”, forms a cross;

The leftover letters include “a” for “The Alpha”,

while “o” represents “The Omega”.

The last secret, discovered inside this puzzle’s framework,

informs us: “The Alpha and Omega holds the wheels in work.”

For with Jehovah, nothing is impossible –

when we see that “Jesus makes God’s work possible”.

Author Notes:

Information for this poem was gleaned from a video presentation of Simcha J., who is known as the Naked Archeologist. The first SATOR square was found carved on the wall of a retired soldier's home; he had served the Roman army and his name was Paquio Proculo; it's been dated around 79 AD.

Poem: Way of The Cross

Tis important to remember,
the holy Standard that was set for us!
Its purchase was selflessly made
by our beloved Christ Jesus.

Upon Calvary, this single sacrifice
of Jehovah’s perfect, atoning Lamb
completely demonstrates the truest form of Love
from our God, the Great I Am.

Lord, we may not entirely comprehend,
how Your ways are superior to our own,
but we need to realize that we’re called
to reach towards Your Kingdom throne.

From the cruel spilling of Your Son’s royal blood,
the ransom for Humanity was fully paid;
and the foundation of Heaven’s eternity
has been utterly sealed and forever laid.

Far out in the wilderness (terzanelle)

Far out in the wilderness
I have come upon a thrush
far from its nest, singing in happiness

where knee high grass brush,
where grass is bristling
I have come upon a thrush

While some weeds do sting
where it with joy does sing
where grass is bristling

in a sound that is sweet and clearly does ring
with a blessing that is serene and profound
where it with joy does sing

in the most beautiful sound
as if it’s praising the creator
with a blessing that is serene and profound

I heard the little great orator
far out in the wilderness
as if it’s praising the creator
far from its nest, singing in happiness.
