Life and the Rose
Life and the Rose
I got a remembrance of two lines from my Poem, “I Saw a
Garden”
“Rose owns beauty, but with thorn
Depends on us… What we won?”
The same thing waits for us in our life. The way we turn our
life, it starts moving in that very direction. We’ve many effects of our
thoughts, ideas, emotions, and activities on our life. With the lines I wrote
above, we come to learn that Rose is gifted by the God, with two qualities. One
is enhancing day by day beauty, which holds and captivates our heart when we
watch… The other is its thorns, with the sharpness to penetrate anything very
simply! And it is we, the choosers, and we decide that what we enjoy from the
Rose. When we see the Rose, we may enjoy its beauty, we may smile over its red
color of love, we may praise its smell, and we may take its photo also, to
enjoy the remembrance that we saw a beautiful Rose! So, this was the positive
way to watch the Rose. This will give us a long lasting happiness.
But if we try to pluck it, without any special care for the
flower, you may [often] get nailed by its sharp thorns. And this experience
will give us pain and a sad memory for some next days. That is all for the
reason that we try to pluck the beautiful flower, which is giving joys to many
hearts, and giving smiles to many of its soothers!
The same is going in our life. If we try to live a joyful
life, if we take care of the beauty present in the life, our life becomes
happy. We need to see the things with eyes of appreciation, rather than that of
envy or anger. We may enjoy the life in helping others, sharing our joys with
others, and in thus good works. It’ll go the same pleasure like, what we got in
watching the beauty of the red Rose. But, like the same, if we try to do wrong
like, hurting others, putting obstacles in other’s ways, making their works
troublesome, or by any means if we try to hurt anyone, we’ll have to be ready
for the punishment, by the thorn of our very own deeds!
So, we need to make our life a joy, we must choose the
beauty, not the thorn.
