When it Rains in Summers
Pitter-patter, titter-tatter,
The rain fell on the window.
She peeked to see, with those curious eyes and rounded lips,
The noises it made, interesting ones, she rushed to see.
It was beautiful, so beautiful.
It reminded her of home and warmth, of love and joy and moments to cherish.
It made her happy and made her smile
Because it does rain in summers, once in a while.
Fresh, so fresh. Pure and clean.
Lush and green.
Purity seemed to drive away all things vile;
Because it does rain in summers, once in a while.
Oh in this calm and through this mist, all emotions blinded and no questions asked
She could trod for a mile and a mile
Because it does rain in summers once in a while, just once in a while.
