Death is a one way ticket to your destination
Death lurks over people waiting to cut their life strings
Death is a pain pill that never quits working
Death will leave people behind in a huge cloud of dust
Death eats at the hearts of your family members after it has taken your soul
Death takes its toll upon your family
Death, a word that will forever bring sorrow to the ears in which it rings

Emergency.
Quick doctor, can’t wait.
She was dead. She isn’t now.
Doctor what’s the trouble? Oh no, not you too!
run.
Run.
RUN.
Fast. As. Possible.
Another one? What are they? Zombies? What is that?
Ah. Got bit.
I need help. No cure? INSANE.
Why?
Oh not the children too.
I’m a nurse, not my nature to kill.
But, the hunger aches in my stomach, nothing will fill it.
Oh just a bite of the patient.
No. Must. Resist.
Then, Nonsense.

Gorgeous, fallen angel.
Perfect. Flawless face. Body of a God.
Immortal. Immoral. Intoxicating.
Black wings stretch across the sky.
Only the angel in my view.
Oh what to do.
I can’t resist.
Oh but I must.
I drop to my knees and pray. Pray.
Silently. Then aloud.
Screaming at the gods.
Then the whimpers, the apologetic whimpers.
I’m so sorry.
How could I fix this?
The angel no longer deceives me.
Resisting is easy.
I alone will be the angel’s demise.
I alone will serve my gods.
