From Where You Are
I
unwind in the thought of my missing love,
The
angels in the sky sob to my grief and I shed a tear also,
My
mind is serene at this lonesome time,
How
long should I await her presence?
For
how long will I linger in sorrow?
My
memory is full of her only if she is all that matters,
And
so it is…
My
faith is upbeat as shafts of gold and orange overcome the shadows,
No
reason do I have of cursing my absence in her life,
Only
that I wish I would never be absent when she dreams.
As
her voice will loiter in my reality, mortal,
I
will miss her more and picture our yearning,
A
day in her arms…
We
will play on the yellow sands on a brilliant summer day,
Underneath
a dazzling sky we’ll embrace each other.
At
dawn we will gaze at the erratic colours in the horizon,
And
the angels in the sky sob to my cheer as a grin appears on her face.
I’ll
keep her warm and misplace my plight in her eyes,
And
I push to my eyes as she leans in for a kiss,
So
I miss her more…
