If lost in difficulties, look up,
Life may hold a full cup.
Are we smothered under stuff?
Is life a huff and puff?
When we only need just enough
To make it through the rough.
Light comes from above
To show a lot of love.
Sunlight covers it all
The good, bad, great, and small.
Manage difficulties with a glove
Live peaceful as a dove.
If lost under stuff,
What is in life's full cup?

In this world so technical
There is still the pencil
One end does the writing
The other does the eracing
As we care for today
There must be a way
Forgive, yesterday is gone
The road is not so long
It lightens the load
Along life's road
Jesus said,"Forgive them,
They know not what they do."

Is handwriting on the wall?
Is reality revealed in it all?
Not a stage of a school play
Real living from day to day
Tomorrow holds another line
Isaiah saw ahead of time
Hundreds of years down line
Foretold of Christ in detail
Was heard, to no avail
They could not imagine
God already said,"Let there be"
It was said, it became reality
It is hard for some to believe
Something they cannot see
His word tells of things unseen

Unseen treasure we find
In thoughts renewing the mind
Nourished into reality
Clothed in simplicity
Face the challenge of the day
Do not in confusion stay
Humbly to God we pray
Guide our path and way
There is a view in review
There is new in renew
A model in remodel
There is a glow in glorify

God divided the firmament from the firmament.
Heavens are real and permanent.
Way beyond the blue.
His word is real and true,
Breathed by God for me and you,
They were breathed from beyond the blue.
It tells of His Spirit that leads,
Tells of believing, of faith, of life.
It tells of the eternal light.
It tells of His habitat above
He is watching for acts of human love
Acts led by the Spirit of God above.

Who is the collector?
Things saved, protected,
Organized well
Stories it tells.
Many pencils, from days before,
Is one like yours?
A message it provides
Written on its sides.
Collector's tractors restored
A Deere, a Massey, a Ford.
Polished to shine
Top of the line.
Book shelf is filled
Great thoughts still,
Choice books they've read
Remember what they said?
Picture covered cookie cans
Ignite a childhood plan.
Decoration above the cabinet shelf
But not for "help your self".
Quilt pieces, a bright stash,
Not colors that clash.
Stithes on display
A gift when needed, someday.
Blossom liked window sill,
Flowers blooming still
Violets of many shades
Lined up, as on parade.
Before time is gone
Collections should move on.
They were fun to save.
It is information they gave.

It is found under the word prayer.
Should we ask for self or others?
Are we mindful of friends and brothers?
What better way to love one another
As we face life's journey together?
Share difficulties with others.
Request in prayer for another.

When youth vibrates with energy,
Survey the ways of simplicity.
Decide the things you like
Seek along the road of life.
Build sound interests along the way
May not all survive the stay.
Life needs a back-up crew
Swift changes bring things new.
Plant a tree in early life
Retire with fruit of you labor
One tree may not survive
Plant more, some may stay alive.
Care well for this day.
It is not here to stay.
Let wisdom show its way.
Seek knowledge for this day.

Plan, you may, interuptions seem to play a part of each day.
Passed by the piano, old song you know, give morning a glow.
Stopped by the desk, encouraging note is best.
Send word, we're blest.
Keep friends close knit, time to visit a bit
Let sparks of joy be lit.
Passed by the sewing, recyled stack is growing.
Imagination is in the knowing.
Time to rest awhile. Review interests of you style,
Dream, recline and smile.

Is love a life-time devotion
Loved displays kind consideration
Kindness beyond imagination
Is love displayed in desire
For those in friendships empire
Or in things we acquire
Is love displayed
In things we do
Or necissities, just a few
Love is on display
To all, along life's way
Life is on display
As we move from day to day.
