Lament of a Loaded Heart
Rain falls to my heart,
Carrying the Moon,
This soul herald
Always dancing
On the stage of my ego.
I try to reach my goal
Right at hand
My fingers curl up however
Any time I get near it.
This race against myself
I bear with always
I want you near me
But I fear I’d leave myself.
I wouldn’t survive this tragedy
My love for you’s death would be.
I can’t imagine living without you,
Your presence and your being.
Still I always run behind,
Trying to catch you.
How sad this tragedy
Gets to be.
I can’t help myself but feeling you
By all angles and all means
Of unmatched beauty
What a desperate beast I am
To tell you all them
In a poem
On which your eyes
Never will settle themselves.
How shameful.
